Q: Why can't I find the Recon app on the Google Play Store?
A: Due to content restrictions put in place by Google, we aren't able to continue to offer the Recon app in the Google Play Store. If you're a user of our no longer offered Google Play app, we will soon stop supporting this so we need you to update to the Recon X app as soon as possible.
Q: What is different between the Recon X app and the one from the Google Play Store?
A: In the Recon X app, you’re able to see adult images as well as features such as Events, that wouldn’t be allowed on the Google Play version.
Q: Is it safe to download an app from a website and not the Google Play Store?
A: Anytime you download an app, it is at your own risk. The Recon X app is safe to download. You should only download apps from trusted companies. If you would like some more information about downloading Android apps from places outside of the Google Play store, here are a few articles (in English) which explain it in a bit more detail.

Q: I’ve downloaded the file, now what do I do?
A: Navigate to your device’s Settings, select Security or Applications (depending on device) and check the Unknown Sources box. Tap on the downloaded file from Notifications or Downloads to install the application and follow the instructions on your screen.
Q: Can I have more than one Recon app on my Android device?
A: No, you are unable to do this. If you have the Google Play Recon App and then download the Recon X app, the Recon X app will take the place of the original app. Don't worry though, none of your profile information will be lost when you make the change to Recon X.
Q: How will I know if there is an update to the Recon X app?
A: You’ll see a pop up from Recon when you access the app letting you know when there is an update and guide you through the update process.
Q: Will you be making an iPhone version of the Recon X app?
A: iPhones don’t have the ability to download apps from other places than iTunes so we’re unable to do this.
