Using an outdated browser version can not only just cause technical issues that affect performance preventing you from accessing fun features on our website, but can cause technical issues affecting your browser’s performance. It also means that you won’t have received the most recent compatibility or security updates, leaving your browser unable to display the website properly and potentially vulnerable to cyber attacks.
By updating your browser, you ensure that your browser has access to the latest improvements as well as the best possible performance and security while accessing Recon.
To update your browser to the latest, please follow one of the instructions below for the most common browser types:

Before following these steps, it's a good idea to back up your Mac.
- From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Settings or System Preferences.
- If you choose System Settings, click General on the left side of the window. Then click Software Update on the right.
- If you choose System Preferences, click Software Update in the window.
- Software Update then checks for new software.
- If Software Update finds new software, click the button to install it. The button might be named Update Now, Upgrade Now, Install Now, or Restart Now, for example. You may then be asked to enter your administrator password.
- If Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then no new software is currently available for your Mac model. Software Update shows only software that is compatible with your Mac.
