Account suspensions restrict access to all profile features on Recon. This breakdown covers common reasons and how to resolve them.
When an account has been suspended, you are no longer able to access any elements of your account beyond being able to log in. A suspension does not necessarily mean you have breached our guidelines; it often occurs simply because a required account action has not yet been completed.
If you aren’t sure why your account has been suspended, we recommend checking the inbox and spam/junk folders of the email address registered to your account to see if you have received any notifications from our team or our automated system.
The most common reasons for an account suspension include:
-
Moderation
If activity that breaches our Terms and Conditions is observed on a profile, a suspension will be applied. If the account was suspended by a member of staff, this will typically be accompanied by an email explaining the specific reason for the decision. -
Verification
If it has been more than 7 days since your account was created, it may have been suspended because registration was not fully completed. All new accounts are emailed a verification link that must be used to verify the account before the time elapses. -
Validation
If we are unable to reach your email address to deliver important updates about your account status or Premium Membership, your profile will enter an "invalid" status. This typically happens if your email provider or domain has blocked our non-marketing system emails, preventing us from providing you with critical information required to manage your account.
If you require clarification about the nature of your specific suspension, please contact Customer Support by submitting a request.
