Managing browser permissions ensures Recon functions correctly with GPS and notifications. This breakdown details how to reset your settings.
Recon requires specific browser permissions, such as access to your device's GPS or the ability to deliver notifications to function properly and keep your profile active on the "Nearby" list. If you encounter technical issues, you may need to clear your website data and reset your permissions to ensure you can use Recon correctly.
You can choose how to share your location and manage your preferences whenever you want, but the method to update these settings differs depending on how you are accessing the platform. Once you have completed the relevant steps, you will then be given the option to set the permissions to whatever you'd like.
